The BU Commodities Trading Club ("BUCTC," "we," "us," or "the Club") is a student organization at Boston University. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the BUCTC website.

This website is maintained by the Club and is separate from Boston University's official websites and systems.

Information You Provide

Mailing List

The website provides a mailing-list signup form. When you use this form, we collect the information you choose to submit, which currently includes your name and email address. We use this information to manage the Club's mailing list and to send communications concerning meetings, events, competitions, market discussions, Club announcements, and other Club-related activities and opportunities.

Mailing-list subscriptions are managed using MailerLite, a third-party email marketing service. You may unsubscribe from Club mailing-list communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option provided in those emails. Joining the mailing list does not make you an official member of BUCTC.

Official Club Membership

Official Club membership is managed separately through Boston University's designated student-organization platform, TerrierCentral. When you follow a membership link from this website, you leave the BUCTC website and interact with a Boston University service. Information you submit through TerrierCentral is handled according to Boston University's applicable policies and practices rather than this Privacy Policy.

Website Analytics
